Tokyo:	Take Chuo Expressway to Okaya Jct, and get on Nagano Expressway, Matsumoto Turnoff(about 2hrs.30min). From Matsumoto, R158 to Maekawado(30min.), turnoff left at Mt Norikura(traffic lights) and cross red color bridge to Norikura Kogen(10min.) where numbered route begins. We are #17....turnoff left(#17 sign), you will find Mizushiro after 1min drive.

*	Kamikochi Traffic Regulation.......Close to private car
	For the sake of traffic safety as well as protecting the nature, it is not possible to access Kamikochi by private vehicles.
	-	From Sawando carpark(chargeable, 1500 vehicles capacity),change to bus or taxi As for the waiting of the return bus, the queue may be long. There are times when the waiting time is 1 to 3 hours during high season or consecutive holidays.
	-	Norikura Kogen --> Kamikochi (Direct bus). We recommend this as the line isn't long due to less usage.

*	There are cases when road is closed due to heavy rain and strong winds in the above-mentioned roads.

Though it is not possible to access Mt. Norikura Tatamidaira (2,702m elevation)
by private vehicles, you could view the magnificent Hotaka mountain range
and having nice encounters with the delicate alpine plants
at the Echo Line and Sky Line.
